A homomorphism theorem for bilinear multipliers
نویسنده
چکیده
In this paper we prove an abstract homomorphism theorem for bilinear multipliers in the setting of locally compact Abelian (LCA) groups. We also provide some applications. In particular, we obtain a bilinear abstract version of K. de Leeuw’s theorem for bilinear multipliers of strong and weak type. We also obtain necessary conditions on bilinear multipliers on non-compact LCA groups, yielding boundedness for the corresponding operators on products of rearrangement invariant spaces. Our investigations extend some existing results in Rn to the framework of general LCA groups, and yield new boundedness results for bilinear multipliers in quasi Banach spaces.

L-FUZZY BILINEAR OPERATOR AND ITS CONTINUITY
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of L-fuzzybilinear operators. We obtain a decomposition theorem for L-fuzzy bilinearoperators and then prove that a L-fuzzy bilinear operator is the same as apowerset operator for the variable-basis introduced by S.E.Rodabaugh (1991).Finally we discuss the continuity of L-fuzzy bilinear operators.
متن کاملBilinear Operators with Non-smooth Symbol, I
This paper proves the Lp-boundedness of general bilinear operators associated to a symbol or multiplier which need not be smooth. The Main Theorem establishes a general result for multipliers that are allowed to have singularities along the edges of a cone as well as possibly at its vertex. It thus unifies ealier results of Coifman-Meyer for smooth multipliers and ones, such the Bilinear Hilber...
متن کاملThe Marcinkiewicz Multiplier Condition for Bilinear Operators
This article is concerned with the question of whether Marcinkiewicz multipliers on R2n give rise to bilinear multipliers on R×R. We show that this is not always the case. Moreover, we find necessary and sufficient conditions for such bilinear multipliers to be bounded. These conditions in particular imply that a slight logarithmic modification of the Marcinkiewicz condition gives multipliers f...
متن کاملReal Closures of Semilocal Rings, and Extension of Real Places
(A) All rings in this announcement are commutative and with 1. For any ring K we denote by W(K) the Witt ring of nondegenerate symmetric bilinear forms over K. DEFINITION 1. A signature o of K is a ring homomorphism from W(K) to Z. REMARK 1. If K is a field, the signatures correspond uniquely with the orderings of K [3], [9]. Thus Theorem 1 below generalizes the main results of Artin-Schreier's...
متن کاملA generalization of Martindale's theorem to $(alpha, beta)-$homomorphism
Martindale proved that under some conditions every multiplicative isomorphism between two rings is additive. In this paper, we extend this theorem to a larger class of mappings and conclude that every multiplicative $(alpha, beta)-$derivation is additive.
